I painted this scene in 2024 in Annapolis, MD during my third Paint Annapolis plein air competition. I met up with my friend Collin Cessna to paint plein air on Main Street, which means painting outside on location, and it was a hot but beautiful day. Sometimes the best part about plein air painting is all the people you meet who stop to ask questions about the painting and why you're painting outside. I met a lot of lovely people and dogs that day.
