I painted this scene in 2022 when I was attempting a 30 day plein air challenge called Plein Airpril to encourage myself to paint outside more. I made it to 18 paintings, which was still no small feat! It was raining hard all day and I eventually painted this on my front porch, trying to keep dry under our small awning.
